Elwood Club

Elwood Club is a project created by Daniele De Marchi and Guido Durante, 2 DJs and producers with a solid background, based near Venice in Italy. Sharing a common interest for the same style of deejaying and a passion for digging into the roots of house music, they decided to join their forces and knowledge in the studio taking the inspiration from exploring their collection of music, searching for fresh sounds and samples. The goal is to develop a personal sound that has his own personality and works well on the dance floor, not rushing the production process but instead taking great care of every detail.

The name itself is a reference to an iconic movie duo, since their first idea was to recreate the mood and atmosphere of that soundtrack.

Starting from a techno background, Daniele’s unique and refined style has moved over the years and now it’s placed between Tech and DeepHouse, with Cosmic and Funky influences. Guido had a similar journey, gradually shifting from Techno to Tech House and then arriving to a more Deep and Soulful style.

Daniele shared the decks with many national and international artists during his career, especially during his residency at the Mirò Club (one of the largest in Italy), growing the ability and confidence to play for every type of crowd. Guido played a lot locally as a Dj and was one of the founders and organizer of Soul Club, a small underground venue where he was joined by other likeminded artists.

Combining those two experiences and ideas marked the birth of Elwood Club!
